Banner area background image and text
For every page, there is an expandable section at the bottom of the page in edit mode named Banner Area Details.
Open this section if you want to change the background image of text for the banner image or text for any page.
The images should be 1500-2000px wide and 700-900px high to cover the banner areas. If you use images uploaded to the media library, you can get the url for the image from there (there’s a field with the url and you copy that and paste it into the custom field at the bottom of the page you want to add it to).
Quotations for Pages
Also at the bottom of each page there is a section that is labeled “Quotation for this Page”. You’ll find a field for a quotation and a field for the name of the quotation’s author. If you enter content in these fields, a quotation section with this quotation will display at the bottom of that page. See the existing fields in the homepage and about page.
Text to accompany footer form
There is a special section at the bottom of the contact page where you can enter a header and a paragraph or two of text to put next to the content form that is in the footer. The text in the main content field on this page displays on the actual contact page.
Projects and Resources
Projects and Resources are two special post-types that you’ll find from the links in the dashboard’s left sidebar. You can edit these individually there, but you probably won’t need to.
Search Engine Optimization
You’ll also find links to “SEO entry” and “Image Alt Text” in the left sidebar. Follow the examples. Starter SEO has been entered for you.
